The Performing Arts Center Friends is a group of dedicated volunteers whose prime objective is to facilitate a relationship between the presentation and the patron, which enhances enjoyment and assures anticipation of future events in this extraordinary Center.
Happy 15 Years!
Have 15 years really gone by since the grand opening of the PAC on September 27, 1996? Looking back at our first official list of ushers, 278 volunteers signed up and being new to the operation we invited them all to join the Friends of the PAC. Over the years, this number has decreased as we have found it takes about 200 active volunteers to usher shows throughout a season. Truly notable is that from our very first group of ushers, 64 people have been with the PAC the entire 15 years! These amazing volunteers were honored with a 15 years of service pin at the September refresher. Speaking on behalf of our patrons, clients, and PAC staff your volunteerism is more than admirable, it's stupendous!

The PAC Friends strive to maintain a professional image and as such asks each of its members to dedicate themselves to and adhere to the policies and procedures of the organization. In an effort to achieve this goal, members are required to renew their commitment by signing an Usher Pledge at the beginning of each Usher Year. Both the membership dues and the signed Usher Pledge form are due before a member will be assigned to events for the first section (Fall) or sections thereafter of the Usher Year.
